Cow Head is located on the Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland in Gros Morne National Park.

You can get there by one of the following methods:

 1)  Airplane.  Fly into the airport in Deer Lake and drive north on route 430 to Cow Head.  Bus service and car rental agencies are located in Deer Lake.

 2)  Automobile.  Drive east on the Trans Canada Highway to North Sydney, NS.  Take the ferry across the gulf of St. Lawrence to Port aux Basque, NF.  Travel east on the Trans Canada Highway to Deer Lake.  Then take route 430N for about 120 km  to Cow Head.
