If you plan to make a visit to Cow Head or are in the area, make sure you plan your visit around one or more of the following events. The Cow Head Lobster Festival takes place in the first week of July. During the festival, treat yourself to fresh lobster dinners, which are readily available around town. Take in some of the local live talent as it is portrayed in music and songs. Take in some of the carnival events that take place during the festival such as the dunk, the iron man contest, visits to the museum, live theatre, softball tournament, children's events, outdoor breakfasts, fireworks, outdoor dances, etc. For more detailed information, click here. Gros Morne Theatre Festival The Gros Morne Theatre festival features nightly entertainment consisting of dramatical and musical performances depicting the Newfoundland way of life as well as a reflection of our pass. With the nationally and internationally recognized "Tempting Providence", "Neddy Norris Night", "The Ethie Dinner Theatre" and other performances, a night at the Gros Morne Theatre Festival will add tremendously to your visit to Cow Head and to Gros Morne National Park in general.
